So what do you do when the curls are not falling into place, the roots of your hairline are exposing the overdue visit to the loctician. Bad hair days can be unavoidable and sometimes down -right frustrating. Fear not, for there are many alternatives to cover up those tresses. It‘s imperative that a variation of scarves are to hand as they are the penultimate accessory. Work along the basis of your wardrobe choosing a handful of scarves.

Wearing scarves are a fantastic way of really using your accessories. Earrings and bracelets are great to co-ordinate the colour ways. Try a multi-coloured scarf so that you have more choice to play with colours. Try not to limit yourself to one colour; it will only make it harder.

A simple bando can also be a great cover-up, hiding the hairline. Try them at American Apparel for a great range of colours. If too sporty for you try cutting one of your scarves into a thin strip. This is great if you have locks and want to hide your hairline. It’s easy and still keeps you looking funky.

You can also buy from shops like accessorise silk patterned bandos. They come in great colours.

Turbans which orignally were seen on the catwalks are now filtered into the high street. This is an alternative for women who might want to push the boundaries of their wardrobe. Turbans come in black amongst other colours and are a great accessory to wear if going to work or going out in the evening.

Also the most obvious would be a hat. As hat can be tricky, try to find ones that compliment your style. Don’t go for a cap. Do go for a something fitted. Or a simple head wrap never goes a miss.

If you know that you will have a bad hair day damp your hair the night before and separate it into sections. This will revitalise your hair for the morning. Giving you the ease that you need to get up and go.

Cerium on hair night before with silk hair tie is also a way of giving your that fresh salon look.

DO buy a range of scarves that complement your wardrobe.

DON’T overwear a cap.

DO prepare your hair the night before.
